Prioritizing Self-Care on the Path to “I Do”

Hey, Newlyweds to be! My name is Meagan Ewing, and I own Namaste My Day. My business is known for all kinds of massage therapy but the main reason why I went on my own is to connect with all of you. Namaste was created to be a mobile wedding massage therapy business. That’s right, you read that correctly. I have a long past in the salon and spa industry and wanted to change the way clients getting married spoke about their upcoming nuptials. I come to you on the day of or around your big day to give you back your breath to breathe that you may have lost while planning your wedding. Planning your wedding isn’t supposed to be as stressful as it is because it is about you and your partner but in the end, lines get crossed. With that being said my job is to relax you, arrive before your glam team and start working on you first so that when you walk down that aisle nothing matters other than the love of your life staring back at you.

I provide the spa for you with candles, my table, as well as make sure that I spoil you with a signature basket filled with goodies from local small businesses. I have my signature mojito soy candle with other amazing self-care items along with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a note from me. My website is listed below where you can look at all that I have to offer.

Self-care is so important when it comes to planning your wedding no matter how you both decide to have it. Listed below are a few of my favorites to share:

  1. Go to the spa together. Most likely you will be separated but knowing your partner is getting the same treatment can be nice and give you both something to talk about over dinner.

  1. Throw in a weekend getaway or two that has nothing to do with planning, put your phones on do not disturb and enjoy the ride.

  2. Workout together, go for walks or runs. You’ll not only be in the best shape of your life, but you’ll also motivate each other.

  1. Always, ALWAYS go on dates either at home or out at new restaurants. Remember, your wedding is all about the two of you!
